The three
Alaskan students above attended the first FAA
Flight Service Initial-Alaska Course conducted since 2004 and was
taught at the Kenai Flight Service Station located in Kenai, Alaska.
Prior to this course these students attended a 5 week Air Traffic
Basics course followed by a 3 week Initial Weather Analysis, Radar,
and Satellite course
(Course 55254001, Class 59409) conducted at the FAA Academy in Oklahoma.
Below are the
FSS students with their class instructors, course evaluators, and
instructional system specialists (ISS) that were present at
graduation. The evaluators and ISSs were required to monitor the course
for accuracy. Since it was last taught at the FAA Academy 7
years ago, this course has undergone major
modifications to accommodate the newer OASIS operating system and
current Alaskan procedures. |
