| Wake Island En Route
Center, 1966. I went to Vietnam, courtesy of the Army, arriving in Dec 1966. I flew on a C-141 from Travis AFB near San Francisco to Ton Shan Nut AFB, near Saigon. We stopped at Wake Island, where I took this picture. I went inside and talked with the on-duty communicators and enjoyed a short visit with them. |
