Submitter said "my Dad said
several P-39s had to land in Cambridge and spend
some time there. This one had engine trouble. A lot of fighters were landed
there by
WASPS during the war for fuel. My dad flew out of Cambridge in the late 30's and
40's
and when I was a kid (very small). I took rides with some of the old timers
there."
